Many brass players are very familiar with the Salvation Army's long tradition in the world of brass music. For many years the Salvation Army did not sell their sheet music to the general public, but I was fortunate enough to have a friend who was a Salvationist. He sent me a book they published of euphonium solos, many of which were originally written for euphonium (plus a few transcriptions). I have used these often in recital, band solos, and for church.
